Shift Manager

Job Overview

This position is for a Shift Manager at an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters.

• Lead and manage daily shifts, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers, ensuring high quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan shifts, monitor performance, and take actions to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to facilitate smooth transitions.
• Help departments meet their targets and goals.
• Oversee food safety, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleaning.
• Manage crew scheduling, training, and customer service.

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Strong passion for fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
• Minimum age 18 years.
