• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems according to established schedules and protocols.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and tests on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to address and resolve complex technical issues.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines including lock out tag out and arc flash protection to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Conduct custodial work and 5S related activities.
• Technicians may be assigned to production tasks during downtime.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call as required.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and to work in various environmental conditions.
• Previous forklift training required.
