Job Description Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Neuropsychologist. This position is mostly outpatient. If a patient is admitted, there may be a need to see them and, if necessary, evaluate the patient.
Responsibilities- Interview patients, administer testing, and interpret and write reports.
- Supervise psychometrists (technicians) during testing.
- Conduct feedback, attend division meetings, and attend school meetings.
- Interact with patients via telehealth or in-office visits, with scheduling based on psychometrist and exam room availability.
- Communicate with clinicians and family members as appropriate.
- Participate in educational programs, in-service meetings, clinician meetings, and workshops to maintain currency of methodology and techniques.
- Document in accordance with medical records policies, ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and manage confidential information.
- Contribute to program development and appropriate utilization of psychological services.
- Provide in-service education and staff support to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements and QualificationsResponsibilities:
- Reports to the Director of Neuropsychology.
- Evaluate neurocognitive concerns, symptoms, or signs.
- Provide consultation with physicians, other providers, therapists, and staff.
- Supervise psychometrists, students, residents, and fellows.
- Communicate with clinicians and family members as appropriate.
- Engage in professional development activities and maintain currency of methods.
Required:
- Successful completion of a doctoral degree in professional psychology (e.g., PhD, PsyD) from APA-accredited program.
- APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship and APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology, resulting in eligibility for ABPP board certification.
- Equivalent accreditations considered (e.g., Canadian Psychological Association, British Psychological Society).
Preferred:
- Pediatric neuropsychology fellowship is highly preferred.
- Board certification by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) is preferred.
