This position is for Teacher's Assistants, TA, Paraprofessionals in a year-round day school located in Geneva, IL. Hours are 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday-Friday.

We are seeking exceptional paraprofessionals to support students with special needs and collaborate with teachers to provide individualized functional curriculum and supports.

• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily care of students with special needs.
• Provide direct care, attend in-services and other educational functions as required.
• Keep equipment in the classroom in clean condition and provide a safe physical environment for all students.
• Document all goals/programs, including daily participation records after completion of a task with a student.
• Work directly with the students one-on-one and in groups as outlined in the IEPs.
• Must successfully pass PCM (behavior management) training.

• Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license is required. It can be obtained after being hired within 30 days, and we offer a $500 bonus for getting it. To obtain the license, candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
