Paraprofessional – Up to $23.50/hr at Marklund (Geneva, IL)

Hours:

8:15 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday‑Friday.

Marklund Day School is a non‑public state‑certified school that partners with area school districts to provide a highly specialized education experience. The therapeutic, sensory‑driven Multi‑Needs Program serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life Skills Program, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualized انفک curriculum and supports for students diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily телефону care of students with specialournaments.
• Provide direct care, attend in‑services and other educational functions as required.
• Keep equipment in the classroom clean and create aൂള safe physical environment for all students.
• Document all goals and programs, including daily participation records after completing tasks with a student.
• Work directly with students one‑on‑one and in groups outlined in the IEPs.
• Successfully complete PCM (behavior management) training.

• Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license is required. The license can be obtained within 30 days of hire, and a $500 bonus will be offered for obtaining it. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements.

• Competitive Pay (Life Skills Rates: $20.00 – $22.50; with Bachelor’s Degree: $21.00 – $23.50)
