Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital invites applications for a Board‑Certified Gastroenterology Physician to serve as a hospitalist in the west suburbs of Chicago, providing inpatient care and endoscopic services.

Primary responsibilities include inpatient care of acute or critically ill gastrointestinal patients and performing endoscopic procedures requested from the emergency department and inpatient consult services. Candidates should be proficient in basic upper and lower endoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastro‑jejunostomy (PEG) placement, and management of GI emergencies such as upper/lower GI bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus. The hospitalist will collaborate with 1–2 interventional endoscopists and other Northwestern Medicine subspecialists.

• 26‑week rotation, 7‑day week, 12‑hour days (1 week on / 1 week off)
• Advanced Practice Provider support for inpatient consults and transitions of care
• Hospital privileges at Central DuPage Hospital and Delnor Hospital

• Salary range: $450,000‑$570,000 per year

Board‑evidence (BE) and Board‑certified (BC) in Gastroenterology.
