Architectural Project Manager

Full-Time | $75,000 – $85,000 + partial medical insurance reimbursement

This individual would help Project Architects, Project Managers and Draftsmen implement their projects relative to the benefits of BIM and AI technologies to expedite the work and increase profitability. This individual would also have Production and Project Manager responsibilities. 15% of the individual’s time would be upgrading the template and detail manual.

Our projects are located throughout the greater Chicagoland area and select locations across the country.

• Adaptive reuse and renovation of existing buildings
• Civic and municipal projects
• Industrial, office, medical, daycare, and automotive facilities
• New construction integrated with existing conditions

• Lead and help produce projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents
• Build, manage, and coordinate Revit models for existing and proposed work
• Produce permit and bid drawing sets
• Coordinate closely with consulting engineers
• Develop details pertinent to the bidding and construction requirements
• Create renderings using Revit and Enscape, with Photoshop enhancements
• Assist with construction bid review and documentation
• Assist in project management of all active projects

• Determine the best way to evolve our current template by strategically adjusting it relative to industry standards
• Continue to update it relative to the needs of the architectural staff and project types
• Create a definitive process that all staff are to follow called “A&P Revit Standards”
• Use of families that leverages quality of the work effort, schedule, and legends
• General sheets, plans, elevations, sections, etc.
• Specifications and keynoting
• Detail library systems and project‑oriented strategies for using Revit

• 5+ years of professional architectural experience
• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Strong experience with existing‑building documentation and Matterport
• Working knowledge of IBC, ADA, Energy Codes, and existing building codes
• Ability to manage phasing, worksets, linked models, and construction detailing
• Exceptional organizational and coordination skills

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited U.S. program
• Experience producing construction documents in a professional architecture firm

• $75,000 – $85,000 annual salary, based on experience
