Your Role:

As a Process Engineer/TA Lead, you will not only oversee process engineering tasks but also take the reins in leading our Technology Advancement initiatives. Your diverse skill set will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless integration of innovative technologies into our processes.

Respond swiftly to process disruptions and unusual operating conditions by:

  • Analyzing process parameters and operational data to uncover the root causes of deviations.
  • Implementing quick corrective actions to bring operations back to normal.
  • Collaborating closely with operators and maintenance teams to tackle technical challenges.
  • Monitoring key process indicators to identify potential issues before they affect production.
  • Documenting troubleshooting efforts, solutions, and key learnings while managing essential operating parameters.
  • Providing technical support to operations staff during startup, shutdown, transitions, specialty runs, and test runs.
  • Supporting process optimization initiatives by gathering and analyzing performance data.
  • Recommending procedural adjustments to prevent recurring issues.
  • Assisting in training operators on effective equipment operation and troubleshooting strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations throughout the problem resolution process.
  • Participating in incident investigations and contributing to corrective action plans.
  • Managing various periodic reports, such as AU and WPO.
  • Joining the TA team to enhance and coordinate process and production knowledge, including:
    • Defining the non-maintenance scope of TA.
    • Participating in gatekeeping activities.
    • Scheduling and maintaining communication with third parties (IAZI, Intertek, OCI, etc.).
    • Managing scope changes and coordinating with the repair team.
    • Overseeing permit to work and daily coordination with black helmets.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Technology, Process Technology, or a related discipline.

  • In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and control systems.
  • Experience in process troubleshooting methodologies and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and environmental regulations in chemical settings.
  • Understanding of process control systems and basic instrumentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical principles and reactions.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and P&IDs.
  • Affinity for ERP systems.
  • Operational insight into plant knowledge.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders in a complex environment.
