Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

A leading player in the manufacturing sector and located in Geel, is seeking a talented and ambitious Controller. As a  Controller , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial insights and strategies. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll provide key performance measurements, analyse critical indicators, and collaborate with management to ensure optimal decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a trusted advisor to local management.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
Partnering closely with the CFO and other stakeholders to drive financial success.
Managing monthly closings and providing guidance on accruals and commissions.
Delivering clear, data-driven reports based on reliable KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly).
Analysing performance metrics and addressing issues alongside relevant managers.
Preparing accurate monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
Monitoring stock valuations, internal controls, and overall performance.

We're looking for a Controller who brings enthusiasm to the table. The ideal candidate will have:

A Master's degree in Applied Economics or equivalent qualifications.
A first experience in financial audit or consultancy is highly valued.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Familiarity with ERP systems and their functionalities is a plus.
Strong command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
