Supervises on-the-job learning experiences for students of the Nurse Assisting (Nurse Aide) course.

• Assist in the development of valid clinical experiences for students in the Nurse Assisting course.
• Assist in the development of the clinical instruction schedule for the trainee.
• Coordinate with classroom teacher on all aspects of the clinical experience.
• Supervise students in an 8:1 clinical setting.
• Meet with participating agency personnel concerning clinical experience matters.
• Evaluate students clinical experience progress.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Nurse Aide Teacher.

Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title of School Nurse.

Must be a New York State Licensed Nurse (RN) with recent hospital experience and the ability to work with high school students in the career of Certified Nurse Assisting (Nurse Aide).
