ROLE

Under the general direction of the Systems Team Lead, perform the routine duties of running and maintaining the assigned technology systems of the company. This may include the functions of the Core and its peripheral components, communications systems, business‑unit centric software solutions, such as loan origination and account origination software, automation software, mortgage origination and servicing software, and future technologies. Coordination of system functions must comply with company policies and procedures and, when required, government regulations.

This position also provides second‑level support for the IT Help Desk during normal business hours, some select Saturdays, and may rotate after‑hours support with other Systems team staff.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Perform required functions and processes associated with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end processing.
  • Assess the assigned systems currently in place, recommend solutions for improvement and work with stakeholders to implement approved recommendations.
  • Resolve technical problems as they arise.
  • Inform stakeholders about issues with the current technical solutions.
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
  • Configure and maintain the assigned systems, system software, and applications.
  • Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
  • Research and recommend new approaches to improve the assigned systems.
  • Provide technical support when requested.
  • Document any processes that employees need to follow in order to work successfully within designated systems.
  • Coordinate the installation and testing of new products/workflows, enhancements, service packs, etc.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Demand of myself and others the highest levels of integrity, leadership, accountability, and teamwork.
EXPERIENCE
  • Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study in a related field is preferred.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
  • Experience with ticket management systems.
  • Knowledge of system backups and restoration protocols.
  • Extensive knowledge of application server troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft environments, Windows Server and database systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, backup, security technologies and techniques.
  • Experience with IT implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; and broad understanding of IT concepts.

  • Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
