Airport Car Park Cleaner - Day Shifts Airport

Optime are excited to be recruiting Airport Car Park Cleaners in partnership with one of our prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. • January 2026

• Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
• Day Shift: 06:00am to 18:00pm (12 hour shifts)
• Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 4 OFF
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full training
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

• Carry out daily cleaning of car parks, including sweeping, litter picking, and bin emptying.
• Clean lifts, stairwells, walkways, payment machines, and entrance/exit areas.
• Ensure all signage and customer touchpoints are free from dirt, graffiti, or obstruction.
• Report maintenance issues (lighting, safety hazards, broken equipment) promptly.
• Operate cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
• Support environmental and recycling initiatives within the car park.
• Provide a visible presence in the car park, assisting passengers if required.
• Adhere to all airport security and health & safety regulations.

• UK Settled Status (If applicable)
• Proof of National Insurance
• Proof of (current) Address
• 5 Year Address History
• 5 Year Work Reference History
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
• Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial

As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
