Our Innovation Center is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs, and we have a cell manufacturing facility in Scotland. We are also expanding with a new production line at Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, giving us everything we need to scale our innovation.
Your Mission:As Lion Volt’s QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health & Environment) Manager in Scotland, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS). We have the foundation in place at our UK site—now it’s time to elevate it. You will work closely with our Dutch QSHE Manager to create an integrated, company-wide system that unites our sites while meeting local requirements and EU regulations.
Your work will embed quality into every layer of our organization—from R&D and prototyping to pilot lines and full-scale production.
- Maintain and improve our QMS
, make it more scalable, integrated and tailored to the dynamic deep-tech manufacturing environment across multiple locations. - Develop an international QMS that aligns operations between Scotland and the Netherlands while ensuring compliance with local, NL, and EU regulations.
- Maintain ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and support compliance across all sites.
- Translate standards into clear processes, tools, and training for the organization.
- Develop and maintain health & safety procedures and risk assessments in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Execute internal audit programs and prepare for external audits.
- Collaborate with R&D, Lab Management, and Manufacturing teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and track quality KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary contact for customer and supplier quality-related matters.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining ISO-certified systems (9001, 14001 or similar), ideally in high-tech or scale-up manufacturing.
- Experience managing QSHE across multiple sites and aligning systems internationally.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, 8D, RCA, etc.).
- Ability to translate standards into practical, value-adding processes.
- Hands‑on, proactive, and independent mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.
