- Perform medical procedures according to established protocols and Medical Director’s Authorization to Practice.
- Engage positively with healthcare providers, public safety professionals, and the general public.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure ambulances are response‑ready at all times.
- Complete and maintain accurate patient care reports, daily ambulance check sheets, and incident reports.
- Assist hospital departments as needed, including obtaining IV/IO access, intubations, and supporting the COVID‑19 Response Team.
Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, blood and bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other health‑related conditions common in pre‑hospital and hospital settings. Expected to work under various weather conditions.
Requirements- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certified or licensed Paramedic by the Texas Department of Health.
- Minimum age of 18 with a valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Two years of experience in an EMS position preferred.
- ACLS and PALS certifications or equivalent (required and provided upon hire).
