Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Sleep Medicine/Family Medicine

Overview

Sleep/Family Medicine LVN in our Coryell Health Medical Clinic where you will be front and center in delivering excellent patient care. We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Your role will involve direct patient care and serve as an important communication link between patients and our healthcare providers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for helping others, this position is for you!

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assist in patient assessments and document patient histories.
  • Support doctors and registered nurses in daily activities and patient care procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Manage patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience in the clinic.
  • Assist with minor procedures and perform routine lab tests as needed.
Requirements
  • Current LVN license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Compassionate with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
