Full-time shift:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6am to 6pm. PRN positions available.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures on patient samples
- Accurately analyze test results and maintain detailed records of findings
- Prepare specimens for examination by pathologists and other medical professionals
- Conduct quality control measures to ensure reliability of test results
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to communicate results and provide support in patient care
- Two years of college coursework in biology, chemistry, and mathematics; an associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Any Bachelor’s degree not in MLS/CLS; transcript required. Certification/License preferred but not required
- Registration by the Registry Boards of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists desired
- One year experience as a Medical Technician preferred
