Nephrology Supportive Hospital Culture

Coryell Health is seeking a board-certified Nephrologist to join our medical staff and provide nephrology services at our hospital in Gatesville, TX. This is a full-time position.

• Diagnose and provide non-surgical treatment plans for acute and chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, hypertension, glomerular disease, and related conditions
• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
• Manage acute dialysis for hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with primary care providers on management of patients with chronic kidney disease
• Develop individualized treatment plans which may include medication management, dialysis, and kidney transplants
• Educate patients and families on kidney disease management and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to nephrology care

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
• Completion of an accredited Nephrology fellowship program
• Board certified in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas
• Excellent diagnostic, treatment, communication, and bedside manner skills
