This is a 5‑days‑out‑of‑7 role and will include some weekend work, paid at an enhanced rate.

About the Role

ctrg are working in partnership with the Co‑op and have exciting Warehouse Operative opportunities at the Birtley site on the Drum Industrial Estate.

We're looking for energetic, reliable individuals to join our team. You'll be responsible for picking and stacking goods accurately and efficiently, using warehouse equipment (full training provided).

Key Responsibilities

Operate a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) - training provided
Pick and stack goods using a voice‑picking system
Meet daily pick targets (these increase gradually during onboarding)
Report any issues to relevant departments
Support other warehouse areas when required
Maintain smooth and safe warehouse operations

Requirements

Must be 18+
Bank account in your own name
Correct Right to Work documents (passport OR birth certificate + proof of NI number)
