Boilermaker Apprentice

Hunter Net Career Connections are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Boilermaker Apprentice, with our host in Gateshead.
Current 2nd or 3rd year apprentices are encouraged to apply!

The successful applicantwillcomplete aCertificate III Engineering – Fabricationand kickstart a lifelong career with a worldwide leader in Fabrication and expert in their field.

As an Apprentice your main duties will include:

• General fabrication which may include- welding, grinding, cutting, rolling, shaping and polishing
• Cleaning, and general preparation or surfaces
• General repairs and maintenance of products
• Competently use trade related equipment
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Reliable employee with great communication skills
• High mechanical and mathematical aptitude
• Proactive and safety conscious person who can maintain a clean and safe environment
• Willingness and ability to complete safety documents on a daily basis
• Behave in a courteous and professional way at all times
