Overview
GAP Lifting Hire & Sales offers one of the largest ranges of lifting equipment and accessories in the industry. From small shackles and slings to material lifts and aluminium gantries, the division has everything our customers need for lifting any size of load.
RoleReporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) will maximise lifting hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and win new business. Duties include delivering sales presentations to senior management, attending depot/customer trade days, and working with regional sales managers to promote hire opportunities across their customer base.
Location:
Newcastle to Whitehaven (flexible).
- Significant experience working in a sales role within the hire industry.
- Knowledge of lifting, powered access or hoists is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective negotiator and problem solver, able to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
- Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word) and CRM systems.
- Valid driving licence (essential).
