• Hours:
  
  8 hours across 2 days per week.
• Pay: £10.10 - £12.31 per hour.

The shop is located in Wrekenton, Gateshead. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days each week, including weekends.

The amount that you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Helpopera customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean, and tidy.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• An enjoyment of being busy as there is always something to do – from deliveries to till service, customer support, cleaning and stock rotations.
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team; colleagues and customers will depend on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
• A bit of flexibility with your shifts; when team members are away we may need you to cover slightly different hours. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments outside work are taken into consideration.
