Operational Context

Edberts House is a community charity delivering four place-based projects across Gateshead. Alongside this, we run a social prescribing team embedded within primary care and working in collaboration with secondary care services. We also host and lead on Compassionate Gateshead, in partnership with the Palliative Care team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.

Our mission is to create happier, healthier, and more connected communities. Our work is rooted in prevention and innovation, aiming to reduce health inequalities and support residents to drive positive change in their own neighbourhoods – empowering communities to thrive. Our values shape everything we do: love, kindness, bravery, generosity, trust, equity, and respect.

Job Purpose

The Data and Projects Manager will lead the collection, management, and analysis of data across Edberts House to demonstrate impact and support funder reporting, with a particular focus on employability and social prescribing projects. You will work closely with social prescribing and community development teams, delivery partners, and local employers to ensure participant outcomes are effectively measured and reported, and to generate evidence of impact that informs decision‑making.

In addition, you will act as project manager for the employability initiatives, taking operational and administrative responsibility for delivery. This will include proactive engagement with local employers, liaising with partner organisations, and coordinating outreach activities such as engagement events or information sessions to support participants into employment.

You will lead communications with the relevant funder, providing regular updates, submitting reports, and ensuring all funder requirements are met. You will also ensure that data collection and reporting capture outcomes related to the wider determinants of health, providing clear evidence of impact to funders, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
