Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location:
Chester le Street
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotation
Salary: £51,000
About the Company:
Join a leading specialist manufacturing company renowned for innovation and quality. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our high-performing team and ensure smooth operation of our advanced production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimize downtime.
Perform PLC fault finding (ideally Siemens, but experience with any PLC systems is valuable).
Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain high safety and operational standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
Time-served electrician with an electrical bias.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work under pressure.
PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens preferred, but other platforms considered).
Ability to work effectively on a 4 on / 4 off shift We
