Responsibilities
  • Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making a meaningful impact on their lives.
  • Provide person-centred support in line with Care and CQC requirements.
  • Engage in daily activities and community access in line with individual plans.
  • Commit to continuing professional and personal development through training and development opportunities.
  • Work flexibly with the service timetable and shifts (including early, late, and night patterns as required).
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment and follow health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with families and the wider team to support independence and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Highly reliable and motivated individuals with a passion for care.
  • Flexibility to meet service needs and a non-judgmental, people-focused approach.
  • Commitment to the organisation’s core values and a willingness to think differently.
  • Understanding of compliance with contracts and CQC requirements.
  • Willingness to engage in personalised approaches and to communicate openly and honestly.
  • Mandatory training as required (including moving and positioning, PEG, catheter; and understanding of learning disability and alcohol abuse).
  • Experience in a care setting is valued but not required; training provided.
  • All roles require the ability to build positive relationships with people supported and their families.
