• Provide expert financial advice and support to drive decision-making.
• Play a pivotal role within the public sector.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, offering solutions to mitigate risks.
• Support the development and implementation of cost‑saving initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance against objectives and provide recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and audits.

• A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Experience working in the public sector or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 GBP.
