Mechanical Draughtsman – Marine Anti-Fouling Systems

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to support the design and development of specialist cathodic protection and anti-fouling systems for the marine sector. The role involves producing accurate technical drawings, models, and documentation to support manufacturing, installation, and product development for systems used on vessels, offshore structures, and marine infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and assemblies using CAD software.

* Develop fabrication and manufacturing drawings for cathodic protection and anti-fouling equipment.

* Update and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and revision records.

* Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and marine industry standards.

* Assist with design improvements, component layouts, and installation arrangements for marine environments.

* Support the preparation of technical packs for production and client documentation.

Requirements

* Experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman or CAD Technician in a mechanical or marine-related industry.

* Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works, Inventor, or similar).

* Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication, and engineering drawings.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage drawing revisions and technical documentation.

* Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.

Desirable

* Experience in the marine, offshore, or corrosion protection sectors.

* Knowledge of cathodic protection systems, coatings, or anti-fouling technologies.

* Familiarity with marine standards and installation practices
