A leading engineering firm in Gateshead is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take technical ownership of mechanical designs for advanced battery pack assemblies. The successful candidate will manage the full design cycle from concept to production release, utilizing skills in Solid Works and DFM/DFA principles. This position includes mentoring junior design engineers and developing cost-effective mechanical solutions for various applications.

A competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 is offered based on experience.
