Graduate Classroom Assistant - KS1

A welcoming primary school in Gateshead is looking for a Graduate Classroom Assistant to support pupils in a Key Stage 1 classroom.

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain classroom experience while learning directly from experienced teachers.

Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll support daily classroom activities and help pupils develop essential early learning skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting phonics, reading and early maths activities
• Assisting pupils during lessons and group work
• Helping children stay focused and engaged
• Supporting classroom routines and transitions
• Encouraging positive behaviour and participation

You’ll play an important role in helping pupils build confidence in their learning.

We’re looking for graduates who are enthusiastic about working with children.
