SEN Maths Tutor / Cover Supervisor – Full Time

Protocol Education is excited to be recruiting a SEN Maths Tutor / Cover Supervisor for a specialist school in Gateshead
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for maths tutors looking to transition into classroom teaching
, as you’ll be working with small groups of just 3–4 pupils
, providing focused support and delivering engaging maths sessions.

A typical day may include:

• Delivering maths tutoring sessions
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
• Covering lessons when teachers are unavailable
• Encouraging students to build confidence in maths
• Working alongside a supportive team of SEN professionals

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of maths
• Experience tutoring maths or supporting learning
• Confidence working with small groups of pupils
• A passion for supporting students with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
