Protocol Education is excited to offer an experienced PMLD Classroom Care & Learning Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Gateshead
. The school has a lovely, supportive staffing structure where teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of everything they do.

In this role you will:

• Support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties
• Deliver sensory and interactive learning experiences
• Assist pupils with daily care routines
• Support communication development
• Encourage engagement, independence and wellbeing

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in a PMLD or complex needs school
• Is confident supporting physical needs and personal care
• Has a compassionate and proactive approach
• Works well as part of a multi-disciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
