Protocol Education is recruiting a Maths Cover Supervisor for a specialist SEN provision in Gateshead
.

This role would suit a maths tutor or graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a school environment while working with small classes of just 3–4 pupils
.

• Delivering structured maths lessons and tutoring sessions

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs

• Supervising classes when the teacher is absent

• Helping students develop core numeracy skills

• Working closely with support staff to ensure pupils succeed

• Good basic maths knowledge

• Experience tutoring or supporting maths learning

• Confidence leading small groups

• A patient and supportive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
