PMLD Learning Support Assistant – Specialist School

Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced PMLD Learning Support Assistant to join a brilliant specialist school in Gateshead

Your daily role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 tailored support for pupils with complex learning needs

• Supporting multi-sensory learning activities

• Helping pupils engage with communication devices and visual systems

• Assisting with personal care routines

• Supporting pupils during outdoor learning and life skills sessions

• Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team

Experience required:

• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or severe learning difficulties

• Previous work in a SEND school environment

• Confidence assisting with physical and personal care needs

• A genuine passion for supporting complex learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
