Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Primary School

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Gateshead is looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role focuses on supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them stay confident and engaged in the classroom.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and SEN staff to support pupils who benefit from additional guidance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils during classroom activities
• Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
• Working closely with teachers to monitor progress

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll see the real impact of your support every day.
