Learning Support Assistant – Gateshead

Protocol Education are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in fantastic schools across Gateshead
.

If you have experience supporting pupils with additional needs and want a role where every day makes an impact, this could be perfect for you.

You will be supporting pupils who require extra support to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with SEND such as autism or learning difficulties
• Helping students build confidence and independence
• Supporting teachers with classroom organisation and learning activities
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

You might begin the day helping a pupil organise their learning materials before lessons start. Throughout the day you’ll work alongside the teacher to support learning activities, provide encouragement, and help pupils overcome challenges.

You’ll celebrate achievements, big and small, and play a key role in helping pupils enjoy school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
