Overview
Are you a Criminology graduate interested in behaviour support, safeguarding, and working with young people?
Protocol Education is working with primary schools across Gateshead that are looking for graduates to support pupils who need additional guidance with behaviour and emotional regulation.
This role offers meaningful experience supporting children who benefit from consistent encouragement, structure, and positive role models.
Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time only

Your understanding of behaviour, social influences, and safeguarding provides a strong foundation for supporting pupils who may struggle with focus or behaviour in the classroom.
You will help pupils:
- Develop positive behaviour strategies
- Improve engagement with learning
- Build confidence and self-regulation
- Feel supported within the classroom environment
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Helping children manage behaviour positively
- Encouraging focus and classroom participation
- Supporting teachers with behaviour strategies
- Helping pupils build confidence and independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
