A primary school in Gateshead is seeking an English graduate to deliver targeted literacy interventions across Years 4 to 6.

This is a full-time role, 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time only
.

• Running guided reading groups
• Supporting extended writing and grammar skills
• Delivering small group SATs preparation sessions
• Monitoring pupil progress
• Supporting classroom learning when needed

You’ll work closely with the English lead to strengthen attainment across KS2.

• An English or related degree
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Confidence supporting upper KS2 pupils
• Interest in primary teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
