Interested in child development and early intervention?

A nurturing primary school in Gateshead is looking for a Psychology graduate to work within Reception, supporting pupils with additional needs.

Full-time hours, 8.30am to 3.30pm
.

What your day will involve
  • Providing 1:1 support for children with SEND
  • Supporting emotional regulation and early communication
  • Assisting with phonics and early number work
  • Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO
  • Contributing to personalised learning plans

You’ll gain direct experience in early intervention, behaviour support, and inclusive practice.

We’re looking for someone who
  • Holds a Psychology degree
  • Is calm, patient, and observant
  • Is considering Educational Psychology or teaching
  • Wants meaningful, structured school experience
