Interested in child development, behaviour, or educational psychology?

A primary school in Gateshead is looking for a Psychology graduate to support pupils with additional needs in a structured, nurturing setting.

Full-time hours, 8.30am to 3.30pm
, term time only.

• Supporting pupils 1:1 with SEND needs
• Helping children regulate emotions and transitions
• Assisting with intervention sessions
• Working alongside the SENCO and class teachers
• Learning how theory translates into real practice

• Have a Psychology degree
• Are calm, observant, and patient
• Are considering a future in teaching or Ed Psych
• Want meaningful school-based experience

• Strong SEND provision
• Clear routines and behaviour systems
• Experienced mentors around you

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
