As a KS1 Teacher
, you’ll inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and lay the foundations for lifelong learning. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that bring the curriculum to life, ensuring each child is challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Track and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the school’s collaborative and caring ethos

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (placements or post-qualification)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A creative, nurturing, and flexible approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
