Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Primary School)

Location: NE48

Contract Type: Temporary, Part-time

Hours: Monday–Wednesday, 08:30–15:30

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning across KS1 and KS2 in a primary school setting. This is a general TA role, not 1:1 support, ideal for someone with recent and relevant experience in a primary classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
Assist small groups or the whole class as Paulistaiting.
Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils’ learning and social development across KS1 and KS2
Assist with classroom organisation and resources

Requirements

Recent experience working in a primary school setting
Enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
