We are recruiting for a Classroom Supervisor for a large 11-18 Secondary School in the Gateshead area, to work on an on-going basis until the end of the academic year.

Your role & responsibilities:

â— Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher

â— Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils

â— Follow and implement the school’s Safeguarding and Behaviour policies

â— Liaise with the school’s Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes

â— No planning or marking required

â— Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people - preferably in an educational setting

â— Graduate-level qualification
