Position: SEND Teaching Assistant - To start immediately

We’re working with a welcoming school in Gateshead that’s looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to start immediately
. This is a hands‑on, rewarding role supporting pupils with additional needs, and the school is keen to find someone calm, kind, and ready to make a difference from day one.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, either 1:1 or in small groups
  • Helping children feel safe, settled, and ready to learn
  • Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to keep routines consistent
  • Celebrating the small wins that really matter

  • Have experience supporting children with SEND (in schools or similar settings)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
