St Thomas More Catholic School is a co‑educational Catholic Academy which provides for the education needs of 11‑18 year old pupils from the west of Gateshead L.A. We are part of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle and have a strong commitment to Catholic Education.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of RE to join St Thomas More Catholic School. The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner who has the ability to motivate young people of all abilities and will be able to work well as part of a busy and dedicated team. As a department, we are passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring RE lessons to all pupils in our school, from Years 7 to 13.

We study the EDUQAS GCSE and A-level and have an excellent uptake of RE at A-level.
