About the role

We are looking for a mid-level Digital Product Manager to join our team, where you will play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of our digital products and services—from discovery to delivery.

As International Education expands its portfolio of digital solutions that support teachers and learners worldwide, you will contribute by deeply understanding user needs, continuously enhancing the customer experience, and driving sustainable growth.

A key part of this growth is our newly launched Access and Onboarding workstream, which aims to help users achieve faster time-to-value through a more efficient and unified onboarding experience across our platforms, including Cambridge GO, Teach Cambridge, Cambridge Insights, and Digital High Stakes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Manager who is passionate about building impactful digital experiences and eager to help shape the future of education.

What you will be doing:
  • Ensuring the customer is represented in all product decisions through an ongoing customer engagement and data analytics plan
  • Defining and communicating the vision for a digital product or service
  • Working in partnership with:
    • multiple product teams, to understand their vision and roadmaps, and to ensure they are deriving value from our central Access and Onboarding workstream
    • our technology team, to turn product roadmaps into development sprints
    • our UX team, to manage the end-to-end customer experience of the product
    • key customers, to integrate our products and services with their school systems
  • Developing, maintaining and updating the roadmap for a product to meet diverse and changing international requirements
  • Robustly managing the priorities within that roadmap
  • Managing the day-to-day issues that come with running a live digital product
  • Being the internal face of the product to secure the buy in and support of a diverse set of global stakeholders, including publishing, data, architecture, technology, customer services, marketing and sales teams
  • Further embedding a product management culture in a global organisation
In your first month you can expect to:
  • Participate in problem and solution workshops with the Access and Onboarding product trio
  • Join pre-refining and backlog refinement calls with our dev teams and to begin to take responsibility for writing stories and ACs
  • Assume ownership of some day-to-day PM functions
In your first 3 months you can expect to:
  • Take ownership of one of two Access and Onboarding sub stream backlogs
  • Participate in user research
  • Participate in/lead business stakeholder working groups
  • Become involved in supporting key customers integrating with our systems
About You
  • Have mid-level experience in digital product management, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of the product lifecycle.
  • Be a skilled and knowledgeable contributor in planning and refinement meetings, collaborating effectively with architecture, solutions, development, and QA teams.
  • Have hands‑on experience working closely with remote development and QA teams.
  • Be creative, determined, and pragmatic—able to drive the product vision and roadmap while taking ownership of its success.
  • Be confident in building relationships, influencing, and galvanising a diverse set of global stakeholders across all levels within a matrix organisation.
  • Be curious and insightful, with a strong ability to uncover customer needs and understand the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Be highly collaborative—we value teamwork and expect you to be comfortable asking for help and supporting others to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Be familiar with agile and lean product development methodologies, with a flexible and adaptive mindset.
  • Understand the challenges of product management and be comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Ideally, have experience with Scrumban.
  • Ideally, bring experience from the education or educational publishing sector—though transferable skills from other industries are equally valued.
