Durham, North Carolina
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $62–63 per hour
Work Hours:
8 am to 5 pm
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Build Database and Reporting solutions utilizing Oracle, Business Objects, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Write complex Oracle queries, packages, and other advanced development features.
- Build reports on Power BI, Business Objects, or similar platforms.
- Develop proof‑of‑concepts on newer reporting platforms and integrate with Java‑based applications.
- Build sophisticated CI/CD pipelines including software configuration management, test automation, version control, and static code analysis.
- Apply problem‑solving skills and collaborate with other teams.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting is a plus.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Carry out Test‑Driven Design & Development in a CI/CD mode in support of Dev Ops.
- 7+ years of experience in database and reporting solutions.
- Strong experience with Oracle and reporting platforms.
- Ability to work with global teams distributed across geographic locations.
