Senior Research And Development Engineer

We’re partnering with an innovative personal care manufacturer to help them add a Senior R&D Scientist to their team, and this is one of those roles that doesn’t come around often.

This position is hands‑on, lab‑driven, and ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys building, testing, and refining products that actually make it to market. You won’t be buried in red tape here — this is real formulation work with real impact.

You’ll be leading formulation and development efforts for personal care raw materials, taking ideas from concept through testing and optimization. This role blends creativity with chemistry and gives you room to innovate, not just maintain.

• Advanced formulation and chemistry expertise
• Hands‑on experience developing active raw materials
• R&D and lab batch development experience
• Stability testing and formulation optimization
• Raw material sourcing and analytical testing
• Strong collaboration across R&D, product development, and technical marketing
• A curious, builder‑style mindset that thrives on problem‑solving

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• Background in personal care, raw materials, or applied R&D
• Must be located within a 40‑mile radius of Lincolnton, NC or open to relocating
