Hematology Oncology APP- Levine Cancer- Gastonia, NC

With more than 25 cancer care locations, we provide access to top-ranked physician expertise, groundbreaking clinical trials and the latest cancer treatments across the Carolinas.

Position Details:

• Outpatient and infusion
• Survivorship, acute and routine visits, toxicity visits, chemo teaches, and infusion coverage
• Clinic is open Monday – Friday;
  Schedule consists of 4 days/10-hour shift or 5 days/8 hour shifts
• 2 Physicians, 2 APPs
• Opportunity for chemo certification and bone marrow biopsy training

This APP functions primarily in the outpatient setting caring for a mix of solid tumor oncology as well ashematology patients and demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment. Qualified candidates will be able to perform thorough history and physical assessment.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APP
• Effective communication (written and verbal)
• Willingness to collaborate closely with clinical team
• Current on best practice and standards of care
• Displays self-initiative to learn
