Overview

East Carolina Anesthesia Associates is the largest private practice in North Carolina with divisions across the state. This position is in the Gastonia area, outside of Charlotte. A brand new hospital in Belmont will be opening in 2024 and will be part of the Gastonia team. Caro Mont Regional Medical Center is a 435-bed not-for-profit Level III Trauma facility with a Main OR, Outpatient Surgery Center, and Free-Standing Surgery Center.

This is a full-time, W2, hourly position with compensation competitive for the state.

We offer scheduling flexibility. 12s, 10s, and 8s are available; please indicate your preferred schedule and we will work with you.

Location advantages include proximity to mountains and beaches in North and South Carolina, with access to outdoor activities and nearby cities such as Asheville and Charlotte.

Casework:
All types of cases performed except transplants and pediatric general surgery (except pediatric ENT).

On-call:
On-call only if you join the call team. Second call is limited to five times per year.

Base salary: $197,600 for new graduates, with increases each year for 5 years.

Student loan repayment and sign-on bonuses:
Up to $100,000 loan repayment/sign-on bonus after hire with a 5-year commitment for new graduates and CRNAs with less than 2 years of experience; additional bonuses available based on experience.

Retention bonuses: $5,000 – $15,000 based on years of service.

Relocation assistance: $5,000 for CRNAs living over 50 miles from the site.

Bonus and benefits package:
Two plans to choose from (HDHP and PPO); employer covers employee cost with HDHP. Dental, vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, life insurance, malpractice coverage, and a 401(k) with match.
