Position OverviewRegistered Nurse (RN) participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.
Schedule & Unit- Availability: 36 hours per week
- Shifts:
7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. - Unit: CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
The CVICU is a 26‑bed cardiovascular intensive care unit specializing in the care of unstable patients requiring continuous intense observation, continuous oxygen and/or telemetry monitoring, non‑invasive or mechanical ventilation, or advanced pharmacological therapy.

Qualifications- Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi‑state (compact) license). BSN preferred.
- Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute‑care hospital preferred, with demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.
- Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and techniques.
- Ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families; considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide a motivated environment.
