Overview
We are helping our clients find a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Warehouse Lead to join our team in Gastonia, NC
. Candidates need to speak both English and Spanish
. This dual-role position requires hands-on fabrication expertise and the ability to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will fabricate parts and components per technical drawings while also leading inventory control, shipping/receiving, and material handling within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities- Fabrication Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, welding equipment, or machines
- Perform layout, fitting, and final finishing work
- Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Operate CNC machines, shears, grinders, and other shop equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe fabrication area
- Warehouse Lead Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Coordinate material staging and movement to support production schedules
- Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
- Supervise warehouse staff and delegate daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and organizational standards
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
- Assist with logistics coordination and vendor deliveries
- 2–5 years of experience in fabrication (metal, wood, or composite)
- 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong plus
- Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and work to tight tolerances
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (valid certification preferred)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory software is a plus
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
